The Hypro Diaphragm Pump D252 is a medium pressure pump that is suitable for herbicide and pesticide spraying at low levels (or ground). Note: it is not possible to use this pump to replace the pump on the D252GRGI versions. This pump does replace the obsolete D19. Also, valve and diaphragm repair kits are available to extend the working life of this economical hypro pump.

The Hypro D30 is an excellent diaphragm pump for weed-spraying applications due to its high performance and durability. Gearbox, regulator (controller), valve repair kit, and diaphragm repair kit are also available for this pump. If you intend to purchase the D30 with a regulator and gearbox, consider the Hypro D30GRGI which comes with both options installed.

The GS40GI Repair Kit fixes most problems on the Hypro GS40GI Diaphragm Pump regulator (refer to Hypro GS40GI Regulator in Related Products below). If you have your control until cranked all the way down and you still can not get the pressure you used to get, this repair kit will likely fix that problem.
What the problem is, the little red hockey puck looking part in the picture above, get all worn down. Then the flow from the pump bypass back to the tank. Causing reduced pressure and volume at the gun or spray boom. You can test this by starting your pump and looking in the tank to see if all the flow is going right back to the tank because pressure will follow the path of least resistance.
Note: The term regulator is synonomous with the terms controller, control unit, and relief valve in the context of Hypro diaphragm pumps.

The GS40GI control unit is a pressure regulator for Hypro D30 and D50 pumps. This device features two valve-controlled outlet ports, a bypass lever, and pressure gauge in addition to the high pressure relief valve.
